Pacers & Racers opened its doors in April of 1998, with these thoughts in mind:
- Wearing the right shoes helps overcome and prevent injuries
- Running and walking are good for you
- Getting properly fitted shoes is critical for everyone – not just runners and walkers
- Developing a sincere, trust-based friendship with our customers is essential
- Making the buying experience fun and enjoyable is crucial
- Being true to our mission [see Our Mission on the main page] is ongoing
- Supporting and actively participating in our community is an integral part of who we are
- Reflecting Christian Values in our corporate culture is a given
